I've been working on this piece for ages now, and now that it's finally done it's almost a little hard to believe. I drew the original image for this back in maybe 04, redrew it last year, and I've only finished the coloring now. I've loved this couple since they first met, which hits some anniversary in the next few days... maybe six years. It's been a long time but they're just as close to each other as they've always been- they've always made me smile through the ups and downs of their lives together. One of my favorite couples. Pencil, pen and marker exactoed out cleanly/excruciatingly and applied to a backdrop of various mixed cardstocks. Scythe is mine and Sky is ~SonRenee, though in a lot of ways they belong to each other all as well. |

I like the color choices for Sky here, especially. Those light frosted blue tones work great on the white - offers a really nice contrast.
